Únase a los Amigos del Sawtooth Avalanche Center para una presentación de Introducción a las avalanchas organizada conjuntamente por Sun Valley Company. La presentación cubrirá conceptos básicos sobre la nieve, las avalanchas y cómo desplazarse en la nieve con seguridad dentro y cerca del terreno de avalanchas. Ya sea que esquíes, hagas snowboard, andes con raquetas de nieve, trineos o simplemente vivas cerca de las montañas, ¡esta presentación es para ti! Además de cubrir el desplazamiento por el terreno, también hablaremos sobre dónde podría interactuar con las avalanchas en su vida diaria. La presentación tendrá una duración aproximada de una hora y media. ¡Todos los asistentes participarán en un sorteo!

Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center for an Introduction to Avalanches presentation co-hosted by the Sun Valley Company. The presentation will cover basic concepts about snow, avalanches, and traveling safely in and near avalanche terrain. Whether you ski, snowboard, snowshoe, sled or simply live near the mountains, this presentation is for you! In addition to covering moving through the backcountry, we will also be talking about where you might interact with avalanches in your daily life. The presentation will run for approximately one and a half hours. All attendees will be entered into a raffle!
