A donation of any dollar amount will be contributed towards avalanche forecasting, life-saving education, and the pursuit of our mission within central Idaho. Whether you are able to contribute $10 or $1,000, every dollar counts and every dollar does its part to potentially save a life.
Why Donate
The Friends provide around half of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center’s annual operating budget, and we couldn’t do it without YOU. Your donations support our amazing forecast team who produce the fact-filled Daily Avalanche Forecasts we rely upon all winter for safe travel in the backcountry. You help pay for the ever-evolving and information-packed SAC website. And, your contributions help provide essential educational outreach to our community. Every donation, no matter the amount, is so important.

We offer multiple levels of individual memberships to fit the goals and capabilities of our entire community.
Business Memberships
We recognize that businesses have different needs than individual members, and we have established a level-based sponsorship system to fit into any business’ needs.

Support can be provided via multiple routes; in-kind donations, estate planning, and gifts of stock are few of the other options.
