Gifting Stock to the Friends of SAC

The Sawtooth Avalanche Center (SAC) could not exist without fundraising from the Friends. Your gift of stock pays for avalanche forecaster wages, equipment expenses, website operations, weather station maintenance, and many of the day-to-day operational costs of running the avalanche center. In addition to providing direct support to the SAC, we use our funding to further promote life-saving avalanche information and education throughout central Idaho.

Gifts of stock are not only tax deductible but are a great way of liquidating your assets without struggling with the paperwork or gains taxes.
