Thankfully we’ve seen some great skiing and riding conditions despite the abysmal start to this season. The Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center are grateful to all who donated, attended events, and took our classes this year! Contributions from our supporters are crucial for maintaining our programs and supporting our dedicated team of avalanche professionals.
Whether it snows a lot or hardly at all, our commitment to promoting life-saving avalanche safety information, education, and outreach remains steadfast. Unfortunately, the lack of early-season snowfall and excitement hurt our annual fundraising efforts.

To help us reach those goals, we have received two generous matching grants. Every contribution made to the Friends of SAC before the end of April will be matched dollar for dollar up to $30,000. Every dollar raised helps us fulfill our mission. Please join us!
