Why Donate
The Friends of SAC provides around half of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center’s annual operating budget. We couldn’t do it without you.
Your donations directly support our operations and allow us to provide essential services to the community. You fund our amazing forecasting team, who produce the daily avalanche and weather forecasts we rely upon all winter not just for safe travel in the backcountry, but for municipal avalanche information in the Wood River Valley. You pay for the ever-evolving SAC website and AVY app. Your contributions provide avalanche education to our community. Every donation, no matter the amount, could save a life.
