DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics\, snowpack layering\, avalanche terrain identification\, and basic backcountry travel. \nPlease note- you need to have attended a Friends’ Introduction to Avalanches presentation prior to participating in the field day. \nThere is a $50 suggested donation to the Friends of SAC to cover instructor costs. Donations can be made on our website. Thank you! \nWe use a pre-registration system for courses.
